Order one of the Beers of the Month at the C.C. Club to keep from going broke while you get buzzed. The March Beers of the Month are Killians and Summit Maibock: patrons will be charged $2.75 for a pint of Killians and $3.00 for a pint of Summit Maibock. Bring a friend or a straw to help you suck 'em down.
Tropix Can't Survive the Cold
Tropix, the North Loop dance club, shuts its doors permanently following the New Year. This place was once a favorite place for younger Sotans to go crazy, but business has suffered since Spin came to town. The North Loop Neighborhood Association is happy to see this "boys and girls gone wild" club head south for retirement. A new, classier, more upscale club, Visage, will replace Tropix this spring.
