The plot of Zooman and the Sign revolves around a black community shook by the death of a young girl, but cannot rouse itself to action. Strong pleas from the girl's father attempt to rouse a community that has been rendered immobile by the divisive nature of gang warfare and an indifferent police force. Zooman and the Sign, directed by Lou Bellamy, will be taking the stage at Penumbra Theatre on April 14th.
